Consistory plays a vital role in our Bausman ministry by serving as the executive and policy-making body of the church. As the primary elected decision maker, Consistory transacts the business of the church, prepares a proposed annual budget, determines the means of sharing funds, monitors and provides for an annual verification of financial accounts, and provides for the support of staff. Consistory keeps complete and accurate records of its proceedings, is custodian of all church records and reports to the congregation at regular and special meetings. Much of the work is done through the efforts of committees who report to consistory on a regular basis.

Consistory membership consists of Elders, the Pastor and a Youth Council Representative, all of whom are elected by the congregation.
