HOLY WEEK AT BAUSMAN CHURCH

We invite you to share in this rich and powerful week of worship as we follow Jesus from the heights of Palm Sunday to the intimacy of Maundy Thursday, the suffering of Good Friday, and the wonder of Easter Sunday. Each of these worship services will be a unique experience designed to deepen our relationship with Christ and the wonder of God’s love, mercy, and grace that is alive within this world.

Maundy Thursday – April 6th @ 6:30pm

This experiential worship will be held in the fellowship hall by candlelight around tables. As Jesus gathered with his disciples to celebrate God’s Passover, we will join in their journey of handwashing, eating, betrayal, communion, and prayer. This unique service will span roughly an hour and a half as we share in the rich imagery and ritual of the night.

Good Friday – April 7th @ 6:30pm

With dimmed lights and a stripped altar, we are confronted by the stark reality of Jesus’ death. With powerful music and a story telling approach, this worship stirs the soul to ask, “Were you there when they crucified my Lord?”

Easter Sunday – April 9th @ 9:30pm

Come early for a breakfast shared from 8-9am.

Then get ready to join the Polished Brass at 9:15am as they joyously begin the worship service with an extended prelude. Throughout this communion worship service, the brass will add their richness to the music that gives praise to the day.
